Maia Werbos , 12, is in the 8th grade at Holy Redeemer School. As of February 2006. Maia plays flute in her school band and also enjoys painting and drawing. She plans to attend the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Science and Technology Program in the fall. Her first trip outside the US was in April 2006, to Mexico… with Christopher, Ludmila and me. The conference was scheduled to last through Thursday, but they changed the schedule on Wednesday. (Perhaps one factor was the wildfires breaking out in the area, causing the ashes dropping over the hacienda, as Maia mentions.) Sunday we visited UNAM, etc…
